"Where Can You Find?" Mondays!

We thought we'd try our hand at a new segment today!  We just with we could up with a better name for it.  So if anyone has one, please let us know!!!

If you've been reading us over the course of the last few weeks, you've seen us speak about the "little details" around The Parks quite a bit.  We're constantly amazed at the little bits of detail that we continue to come across; a window or door we've never really noticed before, something in the queue of an attraction, or the like.  They're the things that keep us in constant amazement, and we'd like to share some of our discoveries as we make them to hopefully enlighten you on some new things while you're in The Park; unless you are someone who just inhales it all.  But far too often we find ourselves flying from one thing to another and a lot of times we just "miss" things, even when they're big and right in our faces.

So, since Mondays seem to need little "pick me ups" so much, from now until we grow weary of it (or you guys tell us to stop) we plan on posting pictures of little details we notice or like around The Parks.  This is definitely an audience participation segment, and we'd love for you to chime in and let us know where you think we are.  We'll pop back by tomorrow morning, publish any comments we have, and let you know where the picture was in fact taken.

Should be fun, right?  We'll even be nice and give you a little ranking from 1 to 10; 1 being easy (something like a picture of an attraction sign telling you what the attraction is) and 10 being ridiculous (like a pebble in the middle of the sidewalk that won't be there when you go looking for it).

So for our first "Where Can You Find?" segment, for your perusal:

We don't think that we've given you a hard one to start off with, and there seem to be plenty of clues embedded in the picture that should let you know where it is, but who knows.  We're going to give this one a 3 on the difficulty scale, but if you guys should amaze us and become stumped (which we don't see happening; we know some of you and you guys are good!) then we'll alter it and have a better idea of how to rank them in the future.

Have fun, and enjoy all the "little details" in whatever it is that you do today!

Congratulations to everyone who guessed and commented (either through here or via Twitter) that this photo was taken in the Hollywood Backlot in Disney California Adventure near the Hyperion Theater.  You are, of course, correct.  This peculiar (and yet awesome) window is located on your left as you approach the end of the street.

We had fun doing this segment.  We said it was a pretty easy one (and judging by the number of quick, correct answers we got we were right) but we also heard from a couple of people that they had no idea where it was.  We consider that a success!  Drawing attention to things that can be missed sometimes, even something not easily missed, is the whole point of our diong these.  We enjoy throwing things out there like this.  Thanks to everyone who took the time to participate.

And, we think we have a proper name for it now!  One of our Twitter friends came up with something that struck a chord with us, so we'll unveil it in a couple of weeks when we return.

Fun! I know where this is for sure, but I'll let your readers guess. This is the kind of stuff I look at on each trip, easily missed by someone who is there for only a day or two. Great segment!
