Nights In The Park: Sleeping Beauty Castle

We may call ourselves Days In The Park, but there is no doubt whatsoever that one of our favorite times to be in The Park is after the lights have gone down.  There's just something pretty darn sweet about being out on Main Street when it's dusk and you can watch all the lights spring into action.

But in addition to Main Street, there's one other attraction that is sure to draw your gaze if you look long enough.

Arguably the best of all of the nightly sights is Sleeping Beauty Castle.

We came into possession of a new DSLR Camera recently, and we've been waiting on a trip into Disneyland at night to try and capture it in all its glory.  Up to this point, other than a miserably failed attempt to capture the Castle on a point and shoot digital camera years ago, we've never attempted any night shots at all, much less this particular one.  But hopefully, like us, you'll enjoy the results.

We only managed about 10 shots or so before the skies opened up a bit and began to rain, and we picked these as the best three.  We know they're not perfect by any means, but we hope that we're well on our way to getting that perfect shot.  What do you think?

Our apologies to any of our Twitter followers who have already seen these.  But really, how can you get tired of seeing the Castle?
