D23 Expo 2011 Articles Are Coming!!

Wow!  Just wow!!! That was just one of the craziest, busiest, and funnest weekends we have spent in a long, long time!  If you can't tell by our overuse of exclamation marks, we had a great time!

Our first trip (to the second) D23 Expo in Anaheim, California was a huge hit with us.  We had so much fun, met so many people, saw so many Disney stars and Legends, and Imagineers and Archivists... it could just go on and on.  It wasn't perfect, and it had its issues, but that's not what we're going to focus on at Days In The Park.  Out with the bad, and in with the good we say!  And the best part about it is, now we get to share it with you guys!

One of the great things about Days In The Park, we think, is how we choose to share the information that we have.  We're not always successful in how we do it probably, but we genuinely try to look and present things from the "everyfan"s perspective.  Because at its heart, all the frills aside, we're just in love with Disney like you no doubt are if you're reading this.  That's why we do it, and that's how we try to do it.

And with that in mind, that's how we're going to try and present the Expo to you over the coming week.  We're going to be talking about what we saw (it'd be pretty hard to talk about anything else), share tons of pictures and thoughts, and just plain geek out for you guys (and gals) as best we can.  And at the end of it all, we're going to record a podcast and actually talk about it, and share that with you as well.

We wish we could just jump right in and start today throwing down, but it certainly wouldn't be our best foot forward.  We have hundred of pictures to go through, lots of thoughts bouncing around in our heads, and even if it is only our personal thoughts on everything, we know you guys that read us appreciate the effort so that's what we want to give.

So, we're going to spend the day getting our act together and tomorrow morning we begin the barrage.  We know it'll be the same things a lot of others are talking (or have talked) about, but by Mickey, we're gonna too!  And at the end of the week, a surprise!  And you don't want to miss that.  It'll be the first of its kind on our site, and trust us, you'll like it loads.

So with that said, time to get to work!  We'll be back tomorrow morning with the first of our write-ups, and we hope that you'll be back to get in on the fun.  We had a great weekend, and we can't wait to share it with our readers!
