KILT (Karacters I Love Thursdays): Pocahontas!

While Chad, Stephanie and Amy were on the "Holiday Time at Disneyland" tour last month, as they were going through the back area of Frontierland (near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad), they happened to glance over and notice a young woman hunched down at the fence near "The Rivers Of America" who seemed to be looking for or tracking something.

After a double and a triple-take to make sure we weren't seeing things, we realized it was Pocahontas.  Okay, so the fact that she was mumbling something about "the colors of the wind" probably helped too.  We've long since teased Michael about the "crush" he has on Pocahontas, so Stephanie was beside herself in wanting to get a picture.  The fact that we had never even seen Pocahontas out and about had absolutely nothing to do with it, we're sure.

At the risk of separating himself permanently from the Tour (Amy too, in fact) Chad ran back to try and take a couple of quick pictures of her.  He would've liked to have taken one with her, but we guess you can't have everything.

Pocahontas instructs the wee lads and lasses

So there you have today's KILT!

In addition to doing these every week we're going to begin cataloging them, beginning today, in a special page at the the top of the website.  A little later this morning, the "kollected Karacters" page will magically appear up there for your future perusal of our past KILT characters.  We're hoping as time goes on that we'll be able to include many of your favorites, as well as some that are a little more on the rare side.  Collecting them should provide all of us with many new, and fun, memories from inside The Parks and we can't wait to share them with you.

My girls LOVE Pocahontas. We have never seen her around the parks, but we are always on the look out!

First time I've ever seen her. Mark has, but I was pretty stoked about it. :)
