Odds and Ends: Weekly Cap-Off (11/15 - 11/21)

Visits to The Park this week:  0

Huzzah!  We were actually able to get original posts and photos out to you guys each and every day this week!  It's been a while since we've managed to do that, and we're not sure how long it will last (we'll get there in our conclusion today), but for now we're feeling pretty good.

We managed to get some Holiday pictures up to start off the Season at The Park and we finally did our website (and its title) justice by reviewing some pretty darn good eats at Disney California Adventure.  We also received a lot of comments on Friday about our post on the Disney family and community and we're very happy about that.  We're glad that people are continuing to come back and read what we put out there and we're especially happy to have those willing to take the time to give us their feedback, suggestions, and comments.  It's very gratifying and it's very appreciated.

Last Week on Days In The Park:
On Monday we gave you a perspective on one of the Princess Hot Spots in The Park, The Disney Princess Fantasy Faire

Tuesday we began our journey into the Holiday season at The Parks with some of our photos from Main Street, U.S.A.

For our "Almost" Wordless Wednesday we took you into Minnie's House with a surprise visit from Jessica Rabbit

We took you along with us for our very first food review at Award Wieners on Thursday

For Friday we gave you a peek at the perks of having your own Disney Family

And finally on Saturday we gave you a quick listing of all the eats within the Disneyland resort where one might find vegetarian dining options

Here at Days In The Park:
It's Thanksgiving!  The problem is, of course, with a holiday such as this a time-drain is inevitable which means less time for us to do work on our website.  Couple that with the fact that Chad will be out of town for three days (in Vegas with his wife) and you have a slow week on our site.  Boo!

That said, we will still be posting, just maybe not quite as thoughtful (and every day) as we usually are.  Chad might post a thought or two from Vegas, but it seems that right now it's going to be a picture heavy week around here.

We promise to get back into the groove after the holidays are over next week.

We're super-excited though to be able to tell you about the project we hinted at last week.  We've been asked to participate in a podcast which we'll be recording with Tales From The Mouse House at the end of the week.  We met Al & Joyce through our wanderings on Twitter (@talespodcast) and they graciously asked us to participate with them and grant them an interview.  We're only too happy to do it and couldn't be more excited!  If you haven't heard of them yet, or heard of their podcast, give it a look!  It's one of our favorites and we listen to it every week.

We're also happy to be welcoming another guest poster aboard for Friday's article with tips on alternative parking for The Parks.  We're stoked to have Amy (@amyululani) on board and willing to help out.  She'll be great!

Be sure to tell your family and friends that you're thankful for them this week.  And take a moment to pause at the table Thursday and count your many blessings, like Annual Passes for example.
