This Holiday I'm Thankful For...

Well, another thanksgiving has come and gone. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful day and even managed to spend some time reflecting on life and thinking about all of the things in our own lives that we have that we can be truly thankful for.

I've spent some time writing about it before, but one of the things that I am most thankful for in terms of Disneyland are all of the real-life friends that I made from my experiences at the park. They're people that I genuinely love and care for and no amount of money is too much to pay when compared with the reward that you get and the real life satisfaction you get from those relationships.

This year, one of the things I've been most thankful for, are the relationships I've built at Disneyland with many of the Cast Members and performers around the park. When I first started going to the Mad T Party, it was because it was a great cover band who played a lot of the songs I like. Now, the reason I go to the Party is to see my friends perform. I've been fortunate enough to build friendships and relationships with many of them that have carried on well beyond the walls at Disneyland and into other opportunities in the real world, if you will. It's enabled me to float around all over Southern California and watch them perform in other venues now, and those opportunities have led me to a whole new world where I've met other new performers, singers, and actresses, who are now also my friends. *cough* Voice actresses from Phineas and Ferb, anyone? *cough*

When I first started days in the park, I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined the people that it's led me into contact with. It's been an amazing journey, and I can't wait to see where the next year will lead me, and what I'll be thankful for next year at the same time.
