Odds and Ends: Weekly Cap-Off (10/11-10/17)

Visits to The Park this week:  1

And while we may have only graced it with our presence once this week, it was a pretty big one in that we got to do something we've been wanting to for a very long time.  But more on that later this week!

We're still moving forward, picking up the occasional follower and reader, but it's been a really great week in that we've made some new friends while sharing our adventures, both in the blogosphere and in real life.  We're grateful for all of you guys and your support!  It helps us keep going when sometimes we wonder if anyone really cares what we have to say.  Thanks!

Last Week on Days In The Park:
Monday we took you on a stroll through Disney's California Adventure and showed you some of the sights from the new ElecTRONica extravaganza as well as the various construction taking place inside DCA

On Tuesday we gave you a brief glance of just what it looks like to be at The Park on 10/10/10

We took you along with us on Wednesday for a ride on one of our favorite attractions in The Park, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

We finally made it into Big Thunder Ranch on Thursday and took some pictures to let you in on the Halloween fun

Friday, we eschewed Disneyland Resort's 'Vote For Your Favorite Disney Villain' and gave you our view on who should have been given a shot

And finally on Saturday we gave you a sneak peak (a very small one) at our coming post on The Happiest Haunts Tour when Mark showed off some of the goodies he got on our last trip

At The Resort:
Many congratulations to all of you who participated and walked to raise money in the 'CHOC Walk in the Park' this morning at Disneyland Resort!  A tremendous amount of money was raised for the Children's Hospital of Orange County today; always for a good cause!

We really hope to participate next year when we're not so late to the game.  :(

Here at Days In The Park:
This week we hope to:
  • Give you the lowdown on some of our favorite Disney music
  • Wrap up our series of posts on the different Halloween aspects of Disneyland Park
  • Teach you a valuable lesson about dealing with your children in the midst of the throngs imposing on your vacation
  • Give you some insider information about something a lot of the visitors to The Park don't know about
  • Teach you the joys of pacing yourself while you're at The Park
  • And maybe, just maybe, finally start our Vinylmation Adventures.

Keep coming back, because we're gonna keep shoveling it.
