What you don't see is what you get with this little beauty. On the outside it is, of course, a chocolate square a couple of inches thick. But the real beauty of this little bit of heaven is what resides inside it's chocolate shell: a layer of peanut butter atop a graham cracker. Simple and yet ridiculously genius! Whoever came up with the idea of melding chocolate, peanut butter, and a graham cracker belongs in a "food" Hall of Fame somewhere. We think it's quite possibly the same person who invented the s'more, but we're not sure on that one.
We typically choose to indulge in the Peanut Butter Sandwich in one of two ways. We'll either buy one on our way out of The Park to take home with us and enjoy at a later date, or, and this is our favorite of the two choices, we'll buy one and follow it with a nice white milk chaser inside The Park late at night. The chocolate is fantastic, you can't beat the peanut butter (especially if you're a huge PB fan like we are and it just always tastes so "fresh"), and the cracker just puts it over the top. It's hands-down one of our favorite treats in The Park (rivaling even our beloved Dole Whip Floats) and always something we're considering getting for ourselves.
There are several places inside The Parks where you can find this treat for yourself should you be on the prowl. The most popular choice of course would probably be the Main Street Candy Palace. You can also find it in Disney California Adventure at the Greetings From California store. Our favorite place to snack down would have to be Pooh Corner in Critter Country, though. And unless we're much mistaken, it's also available at Marceline's Confectionery in the Downtown Disney district. There's nothing quite as relaxing as a nice late night ride on Splash Mountain followed by a Peanut Butter Sandwich. It's one of our favorite things to do (and eat!) in The Parks and something we do on a very frequent basis.
Just like so many of the other tasty treats inside The Parks, these little treats are made by Cast Members. There's nothing quite like a handmade treat and it just makes it that much more enjoyable. If you're interested in the Peanut Butter Sandwich yourself the next time you're out, be sure and check one of the mentioned candy shops at The Resort. You can purchase the Sandwich yourself for a mere $3.95! So little to pay for such a large sugar coma.
We'll be back next week with another "Favorite Thing". What about you? Any "Favorite Things" of your own you'd like to share? Anything you'd like for us to check out and write about? Let us know! We'd love to hear from you.

Bitten by the Disney Bug
Yum!!!!
Just have to say THANKS! I am a big fan of peanut butter. And I can't believe that in all the times I've been in the parks I've never ever had one of these. But that will be remedied soon. I guess it's because I try to stay out of the shops that just sell treats, because it's just to easy for me to find an excuse to buy more chocolate. But thanks to you I will buy 1 more. But just 1......maybe 2.....or more.
Oh, yummy! I didn't want chocolate, and now I do! Visiting and following via Tiggerific Hop...hop over to my blog and follow back if you like... http://mom4realky.blogspot.com

Definitely recommended Amanda. We love em :)
They are Amy! Totally Yum!!!
Thanks for stopping by Glenn and you are certainly welcome!
That's another reason we enjoy going to Pooh Corner and getting them, because the sweets shop is just a small corner of the whole store.
There's another FANTASTIC peanut butter treat that might be even better than the sandwich that we're going to write about soon. Stay tuned! :)
Well I'm glad you found us and thanks for stopping by Jessica :)
And thanks for the follow. Will be sure to check your blog out as well ;)
I haven't had the pb sandwich yet but I have had the peanut butter heaven and that was great. Next time I make it around to Poohs Corner I'm trying one of these. Awesome post!
Those PB sandwiches sound goooood! I'm not the biggest PB fan, but I love me some chocolate lol.
Always good to see you around Brittany :)
You definitely need to try the sandwich and see which you like better! I think we might be writing on the "Heaven" sometime real soon.
Thanks!
They are Eric - definitely need to try one!
I think it just might sway you on the PB :)
um... yum. Wanna mail me one? I don't see us making it to DLR anytime soon :( Carsland will definitely have to be completed before we get out there...
I definitely would Jenn if it would survive the trip :)
But that's only next year! So see, that's not too far in the distance at all ;)
I better get one this week before I go back on my health food kick. Thanks for the picture since you told about them in your tweets I've been wanting to see the delicious treat.
Glad we could help Buckaroo! :)
It looks really good and since peanut butter sandwiches are one of my favorites I will definitely put it on my list.
It's REALLY tasty Diane - think you'd really enjoy it! :)
