Visits to The Park this week: 2
Rain, rain, go away... it's sort of been the theme this month at The Park. We're not normally opposed to the rain at The Park, but at this point it's definitely been a hindrance in some regards. Times have come along when the temptation to get irritated and let the disappointment of certain things win out while at The Park have really manifested themselves. But as Amy talked about on Friday, when those times come we can make a choice to either let it ruin our Day, or we can turn it into something positive. While it may sound extraordinarily cliched, it's during those times when some of that Disney Magic is most likely to show itself. Some of our best moments and memories at The Park have come when things have seemed, well, a little bleak.

Chad was able to take his family into The Parks this week on Tuesday for their annual "Family Holiday Trip" and had a great time. It was an early closing day (6PM) due to a Cast Member party in the evening, but they managed to see Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln for the first time together, watch the Christmas Fantasy Parade, ride It's A Small World Holiday, and view the Believe In Holiday Magic fireworks show over the Castle. It was a short, but amazing and wonderful time. Have you visited The Parks with your family this year?
Last Week on Days In The Park:
On Monday, we let you play along with us as we used the Gowalla App for our DROID out at The Parks, as well as giving you a look at the new Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides trailer that was released at The Park
Tuesday, we took you along with us to one of our favorite attractions in Disney California Adventure with a Perspective of Muppet*Vision 3D
For our "Almost" Wordless Wednesday, in honor of the impending TRON: Legacy release, we gave you an "enhanced" version (featuring Chad and a whole lot of background) of the TRON: Legacy theatrical poster
We gave you some more photos of the many wonderful Holiday locations around The Park on Thursday
Friday, we gave you a look at when things don't go quite according to plan in The Parks with the 2010 Candlelight Processional
And finally on Saturday we teased you with the announcement that we're going to make an announcement about a new partnership for our website next week
At The Resort:
The Holiday season is slowly winding down. What will we do when it does?! If you haven't had a chance to yet, and you can make it out, better get a move on! If you've never spent any time in The Parks during this time of year, if you can't tell from reading our articles, we highly recommend it. Maybe one year we'll actually be brave enough to take it on on New Year's Eve.
Don't forget to get out to Disney California Adventure before January 4th. The letters are coming down! That said, good things are afoot and coming into The Park. We're psyched for 2011!
Here at Days In The Park:
Christmas week is here, and with it comes vacation time! Hopefully we'll be able to get some writing done this week, and sort and edit a good many of our pictures we want to get out to you guys.
We hope you'll pay special attention to us on Monday when we announce a new partnership we have. We're really excited about this one. It'll make perfect sense (if you've been reading our website regularly) when we do.
