One of the things many people like to do this time of year is give thanks, considering we just passed the Thanksgiving Holiday here in the United States and the holidays (Christmas or whatever you celebrate) are fast approaching.
At Days In The Park, one of the things we have been most thankful for this year (even though we've only been at this a short while) are for new friends made because of our work here. We've made and met a lot of friends because of the website in real life that we can honestly say we're truly thankful for, but we've also met many people here who have supported and encouraged us from the very beginning who we've not had the privilege of meeting yet (though we sure hope to someday). When you put them together, you have a new page called "Friends Of Days In The Park" that we're going to be sporting from now on on our website (right at the top there next to Home, Park Hours, Who is DitP? and that little Disclaimer).
We follow and read quite a few blogs here, and are in turn followed and read by quite a few (you can check out our blog roll on the right-hand side of our page for many of them), and we're certainly not trying to leave anyone out (we're thankful for you all), but these stand out. They're all websites of people we consider personal friends of ours, who have participated in our website in some way, or have allowed us to participate in what they do in some small way. We're truly grateful for them, and we'd like to show them that by hopefully pointing you in their direction (if you're not already reading them).
We plan on keeping the list updated as much as we can as we form new relationships and partnerships, and our hope is that one day it is so massive it might need its own website to maintain it.
Thanks. Love you guys!
