Visits to The Park this week: 2
It's been another busy week around here! As the week got underway we felt like we just couldn't get solid footing and keep moving forward. But by week's end we felt like we were back in the rhythm of things. So hopefully that bodes well for the upcoming week and the posts we have planned for you guys.
That said, we feel like we were still able to get out some interesting things. We're really proud of the pictures that we got up, a new record broken on Splash Mountain, and we were so excited to finally get going on the Magical Blogorail loop with so many of our other blogging friends. We've been talking about and planning this for a few weeks, and we're all glad to have finally seen it get underway. Hopefully the next few months we plan on doing this will see nothing but good things coming both our way, and yours.
Last Week on Days In The Park:
On Monday, we spent a bit of time redoing the look of our website, but we did give you a pretty good look at the Tower of Terror rising above A Bug's Land
Tuesday, we, um, is that Mickey over there?! *runs away*
For our "Almost" Wordless Wednesday, we walked you over to the Rivers of America on a cool, autumn morning
We gave you the goods on one of our favorite Park moments, and a new record set this week on Splash Mountain on Thursday
For Friday we began our new monthly stop along the Magical Blogorail with several of our Disney friends and their own sites
And finally on Saturday we gave you our perspective on one of the funnest attractions in either Park if you're a coaster aficionado, California Screamin'
At The Resort:
Christmas is finally here. Although decorations have been going up for a few weeks now, the Holiday Season at the Park is now officially here. There's just so much to see and do. Some of our favorites around here include Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle with its new-fallen snow, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, the "Believe... In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Show and Santa's Reindeer Roundup in Big Thunder Ranch. But there is just so much more to see and do, we can't list it all. If you've never been to the Disneyland Resort, and are wondering when the best time of year to go is, this is it, bar none. Make the trip now! You can get more information about all of the Christmas offerings at both Parks by going to the official Disneyland website.
Here at Days In The Park:
We feel like, for once, we actually have a week's worth of ideas at the ready around here. We have several posts we're already writing including a new perspective, some Christmas pictures taken from around The Parks Friday on opening day, there's always a great new picture ready to go on "Almost" Wordless Wednesday, and we get back to our FastPass tips on Friday. Should be some good stuff coming down the pike. We might even finally get around to writing our first food review. We figure since we actually mention restaurants in our site's title, we should actually write something about them because make no mistake, we love our Park food.
We also made our reservations for The Holiday Tour we'll be taking at The Park in mid-December with several of our Twitter friends. Chad will be taking the tour with his wife Stephanie this time, so we're hoping we can sucker her into writing the review for us this time, but we'll have to see.
And at the end of the week, we begin preparation on something that's just too cool for words (well, at least, it is to us). We won't spill the beans on it, yet, but we're amazingly excited about it and can't wait to share the end result with you guys in a few weeks.
Christmas is coming, people. Have you added 'Epic Mickey' to your list yet?
